Role Description

• Design, develop, and implement EDI integration solutions using IBM Sterling Integrator.
• Perform technical analysis, solution design, development, testing, and defect resolution.
• Lead day-to-day technical execution of EDI integration and API development projects.
• Translate solution architecture into scalable, production-ready implementations.
• Develop and maintain Sterling Business Processes and EDI maps.
• Ensure coding standards, quality, and best practices through code reviews.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and serve as the technical escalation point.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Support implementation planning, deployment coordination, and production support.
• Mentor junior developers and promote technical best practices.
• Learn and adopt new technologies as required by project needs.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Integrator (Version 5.2.6 or higher).
• Strong experience developing, maintaining, monitoring, and supporting IBM Sterling Integrator solutions.
• Hands-on experience developing Sterling Business Processes.
• Extensive experience developing EDI maps for:
  • ANSI X12
  • EDIFACT
  • XML
  • cXML
  • CSV
  • Flat Files
  • JSON
• Strong knowledge of communication protocols:
  • AS2
  • FTP
  • SFTP
  • VAN
• Experience working with:
  • DB2
  • SQL
  • XML
  • XSLT
  • Web Services
  • REST/SOAP APIs
• Strong understanding of EDI architecture, including:
  • Encryption & Security
  • Authentication & Authorization
  • Logging & Monitoring
  • Traffic Management & Throttling
  • High Availability, Clustering & Scalability
• Experience managing implementation planning and technical coordination.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a distributed team environment.
