Role Description

Application Developers develop, test and integrate applications, frameworks and tools in a controlled environment. With expertise in a specific technology environment, they are responsible for software-specific design and realization, as well as testing, deployment and release management or technical application management of client-specific package based solutions.

We are looking for an experienced D365 Finance & Operations Developer to design, develop, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O solutions as part of our Operations/Support team. This is a full-time role which can be based in any of our major cities in either New Zealand or Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize D365 F&O solutions using X++.
• Build and support integrations using Azure Logic Apps, APIs, and other Azure services.
• Develop reports, data entities, workflows, and custom extensions.
• Analyse business requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and production issues.
• Support deployments, environment management, and release activities.
• Work with Azure DevOps for source control and CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, stakeholders, and clients.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Dynamics 365 F&O / AX development.
• Strong X++ development skills and understanding of D365 F&O architecture.
• Experience with Extensions, CoC, Data Entities, SSRS Reports, and Workflows.
• Experience with Azure Logic Apps, REST APIs, OData, DMF, and system integrations.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, build pipelines, and release management.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications.
• Experience with D365 F&O, Logic apps, Power Platform, Electronic Reporting (ER), and Azure services.
• Experience in production support and managed services environments.
