Role Description

The Senior Cloud Services Engineer enables cloud technologies to provide optimal performance, continuity, and efficiency in virtualized, on-demand environments. The role involves moderately complex to complex issues requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

• Utilizes software to manage and monitor networks, systems, and applications to guarantee performance within cloud software environments.
• Orchestrates and automates the provisioning of resources.
• Influences department strategy and makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approaches for project components.
• Performs work with minimal direction and considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
• Supports critical cloud engineering, ETL, Salesforce, AI, security, and DevOps initiatives.
• Partners across technical teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure solutions.
• Serves as a mentor to junior associates and contributes to continuous improvement efforts across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5 or more years of technical experience.
• Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
• Experience working in a Salesforce environment.
• Solid foundation of data engineering concepts, ETL, and distributed processing, particularly Databricks and Informatica.
• Medium programming skills in Python.
• Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, and vector databases for Generative AI use cases.
• Understanding of MLOps and model lifecycle management.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Copado.
• Understanding of monitoring, observability, logging, and alerting practices.
• Knowledge of security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), data privacy, and responsible data governance practices.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, or other container orchestration technologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Must have experience and ability to work remote.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong SQL skills and experience developing complex queries and data solutions (preferred).
• Strong programming skills in Python (preferred).
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or other container orchestration technologies (preferred).
• Proven experience with Agentic AI and Databrick ETL (preferred).
• Experience mentoring junior engineers or technical team members (preferred).
• Experience supporting healthcare or highly regulated environments (preferred).
• Azure, AWS, Databricks, Kubernetes, or related cloud certifications (preferred).
• Experience with enterprise-scale cloud transformation initiatives (preferred).
• Experience supporting large-scale data platforms and analytics environments (preferred).

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$106,900 - $147,000 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based upon company and/or individual performance.
