Role Description

Retapol is looking for an experienced Senior Blockchain Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing blockchain technology, including:

• Developing and testing new solutions
• Researching and developing blockchain-based applications
• Maintaining existing applications

The Senior Blockchain Developer will have an understanding of both technology and business needs and will strive to develop innovative solutions and code to solve complex problems. This role requires an individual with a creative yet analytical mindset and a passion for technology and problem-solving.

• Lead the development, testing, and deployment of distributed ledger technologies and smart contracts
• Analyze and design blockchain-based solutions for various products and strategies
• Build end-to-end infrastructure, implementing effective strategies to facilitate blockchain technology processes
• Collaborate with a variety of teams and departments to define business requirements and analyze user stories
• Stay up to date with the latest blockchain technology trends and industry standards
• Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues
• Document blockchain-based solutions and specifications
• Ensure efficient and accurate development of high-quality code

Qualifications

• A minimum of 6 years’ experience with distributed ledger technologies, such as Ethereum or Hyperledger Fabric
• Expertise in programming languages such as C++, Python, Solidity, Go, and Java
• Experience in developing applications and writing smart contracts
• Knowledge of blockchain technology, cryptography, and consensus protocols
• Ability to think logically and possess strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Passion and enthusiasm for blockchain technologies and software development
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or similar field
