[Hiring] Senior Azure Platform Engineer @Poland and Middle-Eastern Europe

Role Description

You will be:

• Designing, implementing, and operating secure and scalable Azure platform capabilities.
• Building and managing infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Leading Azure networking, including connectivity, routing, segmentation, and hybrid infrastructure.
• Implementing security policies, governance, and platform guardrails.
• Applying the Azure Well-Architected Framework to drive platform design and continuous improvement.
• Designing and maintaining CI/CD and GitOps processes for infrastructure.
• Developing automation and observability solutions using Azure-native tools and scripting.
• Building developer-facing platform capabilities, reusable templates, and self-service solutions.
• Applying Generative AI to infrastructure development, diagnostics, automation, and operational troubleshooting.
• Collaborating with technical teams, mentoring engineers, and supporting the adoption of platform engineering practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, cloud networking, and platform engineering, with demonstrable Azure delivery at scale.
• Experience applying the Azure Well-Architected Framework across Security, Reliability, Cost Optimization, Operational Excellence, and Performance Efficiency.
• Deep hands-on experience with Terraform, including module design and state management; knowledge of ARM/Bicep is a plus.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure networking and security, including connectivity, segmentation, hybrid infrastructure, identity, governance, and security controls.
• Experience designing and managing infrastructure CI/CD and GitOps processes, with strong scripting and automation skills in Python or PowerShell.
• Deep experience with Azure observability, including monitoring, logging, application insights, and alerting.
• Experience building developer-facing platforms, templates, onboarding flows, or similar developer experience improvements.
• Practical experience applying Generative AI tools to development, diagnostics, automation, or infrastructure tasks.
• Strong ownership and customer-oriented mindset, with excellent communication and collaboration skills and the ability to influence across teams.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments, solve complex problems, proactively share knowledge, and mentor others.
• Experience working in Agile teams, including shaping epics and stories in Jira, and comfortable working across Windows and Linux environments.
• Good command of English (min. B2).

Requirements

• Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

Nice to have

• Experience applying GenAI in a more structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into daily work.
• Interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (e.g. agent-based workflows, automation patterns, AI-augmented development), with a willingness to explore and experiment beyond standard approaches.
