[Hiring] Senior Application Programmer @Jenzabar

Role Description

The Senior Application Programmer is part of our Professional Services team and will work with customers to deliver technical solutions/custom programming to meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate will have the proven ability to work either independently or in a team to achieve results. They will blend their analytical and technical skills to provide creative solutions to Jenzabar customers. They will work with customers to:

• Define the requirements and use case
• Scope the best technical solution
• Develop the solution
• Ensure the solution meets their needs

This person will also stay on top of new technologies and how the Services team can leverage them to provide solutions for our customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years experience working at an Accredited College/University or in Higher Education Market
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills
• Must have excellent team building and problem-solving skills
• Ability to be innovative, creative, strategic, analytical, and think outside the box when problem-solving
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Experience with Jenzabar software

Requirements

• Troubleshoot and update Jenzabar developed local customizations under maintenance
• Work with the customer to communicate the solution to the question or issue
• Prepare requirement/solutions for Jenzabar customers
• Consult with customer to discuss the best practices and best solution for request
• Prepare statement of work
• Deliver technical work related to programming, integration and system updates
• Develop integrations and programs based on C#, XML, .Net, SQL, REST API calls
• Lead collaborations with other Jenzabar Developers on internal projects
• Provide training and consulting to customer as requested
• Implement and configure our standard integrations utilizing our Unity (Boomi) platform
• Able to adhere to and deliver on a specific scope of work
• Mentor Application Programming team
