[Hiring] Senior AEM Fullstack Developer @Nortal

Role Description

As a Senior AEM Fullstack Developer, you will architect, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance digital solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Core Components, HTL, Java/Sling Services). In this role, you will bridge front-end and back-end development, driving custom component creation, API integrations, and system architecture to deliver seamless end-to-end web experiences.

• Design and implement fullstack AEM solutions, developing both frontend components and backend services within the AEM ecosystem.
• Build and customize AEM components, editable templates, workflows, and integrations using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTL (Sightly).
• Implement backend logic using Java, Sling Models, and OSGi services, ensuring clean separation of concerns and maintainable code.
• Integrate AEM with external APIs, enterprise systems, and third-party services using RESTful and GraphQL patterns.
• Validate, troubleshoot, and debug implementations across both frontend and backend layers, resolving issues efficiently.
• Lead code reviews and enforce fullstack coding standards and AEM best practices within the team.
• Mentor junior developers, guiding AEM development patterns across the full stack.
• Collaborate with architects, UX/Design teams, and QA throughout the project lifecycle to ensure high-quality, performant deliverables.
• Communicate proactively with client stakeholders to provide updates, clarify requirements, and manage expectations.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and AEM package management workflows.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog refinement).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in fullstack or web development roles.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x and/or AEM as a Cloud Service).
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including experience within the AEM CMS platform.
• Solid experience with Java and backend development within the AEM ecosystem, including Sling Models and OSGi services.
• Experience developing AEM components using HTL (Sightly) and integrating with backend services.
• Familiarity with REST API design and integration patterns within AEM.
• Experience with Maven-based build pipelines and AEM package management.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Active use of AI coding tools as part of daily development workflow (particularly Windsurf and Claude).
• Advanced English Level is required for this role, as you will work with US clients.
