[Hiring] SAP Performance Engineer @S Base Technologies

Role Description

The SAP Performance Engineer will be responsible for:

• Working efficiently with various profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks and provide root cause analysis.
• Devising and conducting experiments to evaluate the performance impacts of system changes.
• Planning and executing performance tests using an automated testing environment and conducting analysis of results.
• Participating in architecture and design reviews of complex solutions in cross-team engineering efforts and owning quality perspectives for the design.
• Defining, developing, and applying performance/scalability benchmarks.
• Working in cross-functional teams to characterize, debug, and improve system performance and scalability.

Qualifications

• Experience in ST12, ST04, SM36, SM37.
• Experience in HANA or BTP.
• Strong knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, C++).
• Experience in performance testing tools - LoadRunner Enterprise, Apache JMeter, SoapUI, Postman.
• Experience in service-oriented architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of performance-tuning SQL queries.

Requirements

• Experience in Heap Dump, Thread Dump, or Core Dump.
• Experience in SQL joins and SQL Tuning.
• Experience in any programming language.
