[Hiring] Python Developer @Kentro

Role Description

Kentro is hiring for a Remote MAS Python Developer to support the VA ESOM contract. The MAS Python Developer will develop AI-driven solutions that integrate LLMs with enterprise monitoring and event management systems supporting VA operations. This role will build and optimize Python-based services and MCP integrations that automate event analysis, contextual enrichment, alert correlation, and incident insights. Working closely with Event Management and Major Incident teams, the developer will help improve operational workflows, reduce alert noise, and decrease MTTD and MTTR while ensuring solutions are secure, reliable, and scalable. The role will also provide technical mentorship and support continuous engineering improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Eight years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience with expert-level Python skills.
• Experience integrating LLMs or other AI models with enterprise applications or automation systems.
• Familiarity with MCP or similar structured API/orchestration frameworks.
• Background supporting monitoring, event correlation, or incident management platforms—ideally within large-scale or federal environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise monitoring processes and operational workflows.

Requirements

• Experience designing structured calls between AI models, MCP services, and downstream tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate operational requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and explain complex concepts clearly.
• US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card).
• Willing and able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance.
• Must meet updated ID requirements.
