Role Description

• Develop, test, and maintain scripts and integrations within the IFS ERP system
• Create and optimize database objects including tables, views, and stored procedures
• Build and maintain reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Write and code databases using PL/SQL and T-SQL
• Design and build custom fields, events, and modules within IFS ERP
• Integrate IFS ERP with third-party systems using APIs and middleware
• Troubleshoot existing systems and APIs, providing timely and efficient resolutions
• Respond to support ticket requests within the time frame outlined in IT support policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on application development experience in an IFS ERP environment
• Strong experience with SQL Server, SSRS, ASP.NET, and HTML
• Proficiency in PL/SQL and .NET Core development
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills for ERP systems and APIs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team setting
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Requirements

• Manual dexterity and continual use of computers. Occasional bending, frequent sitting.
• Office environment and occasional exposure to manufacturing plant environment, with some abnormal variations in temperature, unavoidable fumes, noise, dust and atmospheric conditions.
• Occasional travel to business sites based on project need.
• This role will report to the Director of IT.
• All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States in order to be considered for this position.

Work Location

• This role is primarily remote, however, we ideally are looking for those who live in the Chicagoland area to come on-site, as needed.
