Position Type: Contract To Hire

Location: 100% Remote

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using ReactJS, TypeScript, and contemporary frontend frameworks.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX designers, Architects, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
• Develop and integrate backend services and APIs using technologies such as Python, FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks.
• Build AI-enabled user experiences and workflows by integrating Generative AI, LLMs, copilots, intelligent search, and automation capabilities into business applications.
• Apply an AI-first engineering mindset to identify opportunities for productivity improvement, intelligent process automation, and enhanced customer experiences.
• Create reusable components, design patterns, and engineering standards that improve development efficiency and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Data & Analytics teams to integrate insights, machine learning models, and data-driven decision-making capabilities into applications.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, accessibility, security, and reliability.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to streamline deployments and improve engineering productivity.
• Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural recommendations.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, AI tools, and engineering practices to recommend improvements and drive innovation.

Qualifications

• 8 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong record of delivering enterprise applications.
• Experience working with RAG and LLM required.
• Experience with AI agents and workflow automation, AI Orchestrators such as Claude Cowork to accelerate SDLC required.
• Experience with Prompt Engineering.
• Deep expertise in:
  • ReactJS
  • TypeScript/JavaScript
  • HTML5/CSS3
  • Modern frontend architecture and design patterns
• Experience developing backend services using:
  • Python
  • RESTful APIs
  • Microservices architecture
• Experience integrating applications with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, automated testing, and Agile development practices.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, performance optimization, and security best practices.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, product-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with:
  • GCP Platform
  • GraphQL
  • FastAPI
  • Docker and Kubernetes
  • Healthcare, pharma experience a plus
  • Familiarity with observability and monitoring platforms.
