Role Description

We’re looking for a Platform Engineer to join the Observability and ITSM Tooling team at Telia. As a member of our team, you won’t just be "maintaining tools" – you will be architecting the future of our infrastructure. We are on a journey to transform how we manage complexity, and we need someone who can bridge the gap between heavy-duty infrastructure and intelligent automation.

• Evolve our Observability Stack:
  • Build and manage high-scale logging and tracing platforms (Grafana, Loki, Tempo, ELK, Prometheus).
• Drive the AIOps Journey:
  • Help us transition from reactive troubleshooting to proactive, AI-driven insights and anomaly detection.
• Automate Everything:
  • Use Python and modern DevOps tools to eliminate manual tasks and optimize data processing.
• Own the Lifecycle:
  • Take end-to-end ownership of IT Service Management (ITSM) tooling, CMDB, and Privilege Access Management (CyberArk).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure or the Observability domain.
• Hands-on experience with logging/tracing (Grafana stack, ELK) and monitoring (Zabbix, Prometheus).
• Containerization fluency: Experience with OpenShift, Tanzu, or similar Kubernetes distributions.
• Scripting & Automation: Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and a "code-first" mindset (Git, CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible/AWX).
• AIOps Interest: A genuine curiosity or experience in applying AI/ML logic to infrastructure data.
• Communication: Fluent in both Lithuanian and English.
