[Hiring] Partner Data Architect @Stellic

Role Description

We're hiring a Platform Data Architect to own the pipeline that turns any student information system into something the platform can use, and to make each integration cost less than the one before it.

• Own the integration for a named set of universities from the first data conversation through to a signed-off feed.
• Manage new partner deployments, end to end, including:
  • Source discovery onsite or remote.
  • Writing the queries.
  • Standing up the feeds.
  • Validating the output.
  • Getting a registrar to sign their name to it.
• Handle upgrades and migrations for partners already live.
• Translate between policy and data, ensuring that extracts reflect actual operations and catching mismatches before they reach students.
• Define visibility requirements to keep data problems out of your inbox.
• Standardize processes to turn integration pain into a standard approach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years working hands-on with student information systems, either inside a university or building integrations against them.
• Real depth in two or more SIS platforms, with PeopleSoft as one of them.
• Proficiency in SQL & RDBMS.
• Data modeling instincts with experience in scheduled extracts.
• Ability to learn new, unfamiliar SIS/ERPs quickly.
• Credibility with both registrars and DBAs.
• Great at writing documentation.
• Willingness to travel for partner onsites, a handful of times a year.

Benefits

• Shape the future of higher education at a company leading the transformation of student success.
• Work alongside an ambitious, mission-driven leadership team.
• Competitive salary, meaningful equity, and a culture of excellence, speed, and ownership.
• Thrive in a flexible, outcome-driven culture built on trust and autonomy.
• Exceptional benefits, including health insurance with Stellic covering 99% of your premium and 75% for dependents.
• 401(k), commuter benefits, and annual international retreats in incredible locations.
