Role Description

• Responsible for the continual performance improvement of the business-critical Operational Applications.
• Improving monitoring and management of operational systems to reduce the number of faults that cause disruptions to the customer’s service.
• Developing a Strategic Asset Management Plan for the OT Applications and Infrastructure.
• Authorising developments in current OT infrastructure working with the Application suppliers, SSE IT, Neos Networks, and the SSE customer.
• Authorising the completion of Operational Acceptance Testing for the infrastructure for the business-critical OT Applications.
• Providing a development environment for ensuring that the RTS Technical Engineers have sufficient technical and application knowledge.
• Maintaining and continuously developing their own technical and procedural expertise.
• Mentoring the RTS Technical Engineers and working with the Operational Application internal and external service providers to investigate and resolve serious Operational Application issues.

Qualifications

• Operations, configuration, and support experience of GE Vernova PowerOn Advantage ADMS.
• Good years of project experience of the following:
• PowerOn Mobile
• PowerOn upgrades
• PowerOn Outage Management System (OMS) integration
