[Hiring] OSIsoft /AVEVA PI System Engineer @Data Systems Analysts

Role Description

As an OSIsoft PI Engineer at Data Systems Analysts, you will be part of a growing business offering at the intersection of energy management, advanced analytics, and cybersecurity. Your responsibilities will include:

• Translating customer requirements into functional and technical designs.
• Designing and implementing projects that provide situational awareness and operational intelligence based on the OSIsoft/AVEVA PI System.
• Integrating various systems onto a common operating platform and deploying advanced analytics to uncover opportunities for efficiency and resilience.
• Interfacing with building automation systems (BAS), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, and other 3rd party systems.
• Using analytics packages (Python, R, etc.) to design and deploy algorithms that identify improvement opportunities and non-standard asset and system operations.
• Supporting various industries, including universities, government agencies, utilities, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing facilities.
• Delivering value to the overall mission of the customer's organization.
• Engaging in customer-facing and project-focused work.

Comprehensive PI System training will be provided to the selected candidate. The most important qualification is a mechanical (or electrical) engineering bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• US residency
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
• 3+ years of work experience in a technical role
• 2+ years of experience working with the AVEVA/OSIsoft PI System
• Self-starter with an ability to multi-task and effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written proficiency in the English language
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to pass background check

Requirements

• OSIsoft/AVEVA PI System Accreditation
• Experience and interest in PI System integration work
• Experience working with or integrating with Building Automation Systems (BAS), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems
• General understanding of Central Plant Systems, Facility Management, and Energy Management
• Experience with Predictive Modeling, energy management, and advanced analytics is a plus
• Preference for candidates physically located in the greater Seattle area
