[Hiring] Oracle Software Engineer @MANTECH

Role Description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Oracle Software Engineer to join our team. This is a remote position.

• Maintain Reporting Instance (RI) Database
• Mastery of writing complex queries, subqueries, joins, advanced PL/SQL development including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and custom type definitions.
• Mastery of Unix knowledge and ability to modify and create Unix scripts.
• Participate in Oracle Cloud migrations and mitigate issues identified.
• Work with members of the software development team to coordinate Reporting Instance (RI) Database changes.
• Maintain RI related dependencies and daily Refresh processes.
• Prevent database bottlenecks and ensure rapid response times for mission-critical enterprise applications.

Qualifications

• BS/BA/BE in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years relevant experience in software engineering.
• Experience developing and maintaining applications using Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle database objects, such as procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
• Experience in UNIX.
• Must have COMPTIA Sec+ CE certification OR ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
