Role Description

In Argentina within the Fintech industry, we are actively seeking a professional to strengthen our team dedicated to scaling and evolving our high-availability backend platforms. In this position, during your first six months, your primary objective will be to enable and scale our existing systems to support multi-region AWS infrastructures. Following this initial high-impact phase, you will have the opportunity to rotate into and contribute your talent to another core team within the company.

In your role, you'll become a vital member of a skilled, multi-technology team working alongside Product Owners, Web, and Mobile engineers under the Scrum framework. Your primary responsibility will involve technically leading the adaptation of existing systems into multi-region architectures and maintaining resilient event-driven workflows.

Qualifications

  • 4 years of proven experience in Backend Software Development.
  • Advanced proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Strong hands-on experience in AWS cloud development, specifically with containerization and orchestration using EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
  • Advanced knowledge of Kafka and Event-Driven Architectures (required).
  • Solid experience working with relational databases, preferably MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Practical and demonstrable application of Clean Architecture principles and design patterns.
  • Proven experience designing or implementing multi-region cloud deployments.
  • Active adopter of Artificial Intelligence tools used daily to support software development and solve technical challenges.
  • Strong self-management, proactivity, and ownership, with excellent communication skills to articulate technical solutions to cross-platform teams and business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the Fintech or high-throughput transactional industry (nice-to-have).
  • Familiarity with micro-frontend or multi-platform integrations (Web/Mobile) (nice-to-have).
