[Hiring] Middle Java Engineer @Avenga

Role Description

In Argentina within the fintech industry, we are actively seeking a Middle Java Engineer to join our team building and evolving critical microservices in a Cloud Native ecosystem. Your mission will be to deliver scalable, resilient, and high-quality solutions, leveraging cutting-edge tools — including AI-powered development tools — to enhance delivery efficiency and impact.

This is a remote position, but we prioritize candidates living in Córdoba or CABA for eventual on-site meetings.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in backend development with Java (17+) and Spring Boot
• Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
• Hands-on experience with Git, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar)
• Proven experience in AWS and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Interest in innovation and adopting new technologies, especially AI in software development

Requirements

• Knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript
• Knowledge of AWS SAM
• Experience with reactive programming (Spring WebFlux)
• Experience with API contract tools (Swagger, RAML)
• Strong focus on observability, metrics, and system performance (Cloudwatch, DataDog)
