Role Description

Manager (Developer) (full-time; multiple openings) needed in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. to:

• Design, develop, test, and implement software applications and client-specific system solutions.
• Serve as technical lead across the full software development lifecycle, including:
  • Requirements analysis
  • System design
  • Coding
  • Testing
  • Deployment
  • Production support
• Analyze user requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications and scalable application designs.
• Develop and modify application code; create data models, workflows, and integration solutions.
• Evaluate system feasibility within time and cost constraints; identify and resolve technical and operational issues; optimize application performance and reliability.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in:
  • Computer Science
  • Engineering (any)
  • Business
  • Information Technology
  • Related field
• Plus two (2) years of IT experience.
• In the alternative, a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in the same fields plus five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate IT experience will be accepted.
• Must have one (1) year of technical IT work experience with any one of the following skill sets:
  • AEM configurations, Shell Scripting, and Jenkins
  • COBOL, JCL, and Mainframe
  • SQL Server, Power BI, and MicroStrategy OLAP Services or Microsoft .Net Framework

Requirements

• All experience may be acquired concurrently.
• Travel and relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required based on business needs.
• International travel not required.
• Travel not to exceed 5% / year for meetings and to complete assigned projects of varying lengths.
• Telecommuting may be permitted as needed.
