Role Description

We are seeking a Lead Software Developer to serve as the technical lead and primary software developer for a mission-critical software platform, combining hands-on software development with architecture, technical leadership, and technical ownership.

• Serve as the technical leader and technical owner of the product platform, maintaining deep knowledge of the system architecture while guiding its long-term technical evolution.
• Design, develop, and maintain software components in Java and C++ across multiple product releases.
• Drive the integration and evolution of AI/ML capabilities across the product line.
• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to define technical solutions and plan engineering work.
• Establish and maintain software architecture, engineering standards, and development best practices.
• Lead and participate in software estimates, technical feasibility assessments, implementation, code reviews, and performance optimization.
• Ensure software quality through automated testing, continuous integration, and code quality practices.
• Provide engineering support for product deployments and serve as the escalation point for complex software defects.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the product architecture and development process.
• Create and maintain architecture, design, API, and other engineering documentation.
• Travel to user sites to assist in troubleshooting in customers' test and production environments when required.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies, software engineering practices, and emerging industry trends.
• Provide technical input on server, hosting, and environment requirements for software deployments.
• Own the software architecture and technical evolution of the platform throughout its lifecycle.
• Champion modern software engineering practices to improve product quality, reliability, and maintainability.
• Participate in customer engagements when software architecture or complex engineering troubleshooting requires development expertise.
• Promptly identify, document, and escalate suspected security vulnerabilities and incidents.
• Protect company and customer confidential information in accordance with company policies.
• Partner closely with executive leadership, product stakeholders, and support teams.
