Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Python Developer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend middleware solutions that enable seamless communication between enterprise systems. This role is ideal for a technical leader with strong Python expertise, deep integration experience, and a passion for building reliable, high-performance backend services.

• Provide technical guidance to the engineering team.
• Define best practices and ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to deliver robust integration platforms.
• This is a backend-focused position with no frontend development responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience with strong expertise in Python backend development.
• Proven experience designing and developing integration middleware or enterprise integration solutions.
• Strong experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and backend service architecture.
• Strong SQL skills with experience designing and optimizing relational databases.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL.
• Exposure to NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ or similar message brokers.
• Experience using Redis for caching and performance optimization.
• Experience working in backend-focused environments without frontend development responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, code quality, and design patterns.
• Experience participating in structured software development processes including:
  • Code reviews
  • Unit testing
  • Integration testing
  • Validation and quality assurance
  • CI/CD workflows

Requirements

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with event-driven and microservices architectures.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
