[Hiring] Lead Python Developer @EPAM

Role Description

We are looking for a Lead Python Developer to join our team. This position offers the chance to work on impactful projects in a creative and collaborative environment. You will work alongside skilled professionals and play a key role in driving our technology initiatives forward.

• Architect and develop scalable backend systems and services
• Collaborate with team members to ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions
• Lead code reviews and provide guidance to uphold coding standards
• Optimize system performance and address technical issues as they arise
• Oversee the integration of third-party APIs and external services
• Create and maintain technical documentation for both new and existing features
• Champion best practices throughout the software development lifecycle
• Guide the continuous improvement of team processes and technical skills

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in software development
• Minimum one year of experience leading and managing development teams
• Advanced proficiency in Python for building and maintaining applications
• Experience with ReactJS for developing user interfaces and integrating with backend systems
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for deploying and managing cloud-based applications
• Strong background in database design, management, and optimization
• Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative workflows
• Experience with Python web frameworks such as Django or Flask
• Understanding of Python web server configuration and deployment
• Knowledge of security best practices in software engineering
• Experience implementing user authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, at B2+ level or higher
