[Hiring] Junior Software Developer @Peloton Technologies

Role Description

We are seeking a Junior Software Developer to join our team. Reporting to the Director, Software Development, you will:

• Design, develop, and test financial applications.
• Independently create small features and contribute to medium-sized features with support from other developers.
• Collaborate with the team to determine solutions for end users’ needs.
• Work with end user requirements to design and develop code that delivers effective solutions.
• Apply common design and architectural patterns to enhance software structure and functionality.
• Develop and maintain adequate tests to ensure code correctness and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or computer science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience gained in co-op programs or summer placements beneficial.
• Experience with web development, databases, and programming.

Requirements

• Understanding of computer science fundamentals and object-oriented design principles.
• Familiarity with C# or other C-like programming languages.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of database concepts and SQL basics.
• Basic knowledge of software security fundamentals.
• Knowledge of source control software (e.g., GIT).
