Role Description

QuinStreet, Inc. seeks Java Developer in Foster City, CA.

• Developing new functionality to our existing platform.
• Providing support and deployment of backend APIs, coding, unit testing and general quality assurance of the APIs.
• Working closely with QA engineers, architects, tech leads on projects.
• Solving technical challenges on a day-to-day basis.
• Building applications for scalability and performance.
• Writing clean, well-tested and maintainable code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field plus 1 year of experience.
• 1 year of experience with J2EE technologies including servlets, JSP, JSP custom tags, XML, EJB and JDBC.
• Object-oriented analysis and design concepts and design patterns.
• Web development technologies including PHP, HTML, JavaScript, or similar.
• Implementation knowledge of front-end concepts including MVC or similar.
• Application servers including JBoss and Tomcat or similar.
• SQL and experience working with a RDBMS including Oracle or similar.
• Working in a UNIX or LINUX environment.
• HTTP protocol, request/response cycles, and session management.

Requirements

• Telecommuting is permitted.
• 40 hours/week, $140,000-160,000 per year.
• Must have authority to work permanently in the U.S.
