[Hiring] Head of Development @NAGA

Role Description

We are looking for a Head of Development to lead engineering across NAGA's trading, banking, social, and platform domains. This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical depth, AI delivery, and multi-team management. You will set technical direction, ship product, and be accountable for delivery, reliability, security, and engineering quality across a regulated, real-money brokerage stack.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and grow multiple Engineering teams.
• Own end-to-end delivery: architecture, roadmap execution, release cadence, and production reliability.
• Stay hands-on — review designs and code, set technical standards, and contribute directly on critical paths.
• Drive AI initiatives from prototype to production, including core product features, personalization, market analysis, and automation.
• Ensure systems meet the regulatory, security, and resilience requirements of a licensed multi-asset broker.
• Own infrastructure strategy, scalability, and cloud cost efficiency.
• Partner with Product, Compliance, and the executive team; report on delivery, headcount, and technical risk.

Qualifications

• Deep trading and brokerage expertise across CFDs, forex, equities, ETFs, and crypto, including order flow, market data, and exchange/liquidity connectivity (e.g. FIX).
• Hands-on experience designing, building, and shipping AI/LLM-based systems to production.
• Strong hands-on software development background; still actively writes and reviews code.
• Proven track record managing multiple engineering teams simultaneously, including engineering managers and tech leads.
• Experience operating within a regulated financial services environment (e.g. CySEC, FCA, or equivalent).
• Demonstrated ownership of large-scale, high-availability, low-latency production systems.

Requirements

• Prior experience at a broker, exchange, trading platform, or multi-asset fintech.
• Familiarity with cloud (AWS), Kubernetes, and modern data/streaming stacks.
• Experience with technical due diligence and integration of acquired platforms.
• Track record leading distributed, fully remote engineering teams.
