[Hiring] Golang / HashiCorp Vault Engineer @Apolisrises

Role Description

Seeking a hands-on Golang / HashiCorp Vault Engineer to support a credential platform and migrate existing capabilities to HashiCorp Vault. The ideal candidate will have strong Golang development experience, deep Vault expertise, cloud experience, and a strong understanding of IAM and secure credential management.

• Develop, maintain, test, and enhance applications and services for the credential platform.
• Build HashiCorp Vault capabilities to replace legacy credential-management features.
• Develop integrations and plugins and onboard tools into the enterprise environment.
• Support secure non-human credential storage in compliance with IAM policies.
• Perform development, engineering, automation, operational, and DevOps activities.
• Follow architectural, product, and usability standards.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot and support production applications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Golang experience.
• Strong object-oriented programming and scalable software design skills.
• Strong HashiCorp Vault experience, including:
• Authentication backends
• Secret engines
• Plugin development
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Production application support and troubleshooting experience.
• Understanding of IAM, least-privilege access, and secure credential handling.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating legacy secrets/credential platforms to HashiCorp Vault.
• Financial services or other regulated enterprise experience.
• Experience with incident and vulnerability management processes.
