[Hiring] Full Stack Software Engineer @PwC

Role Description

As part of PwC Enterprise Data Platform team, you design and develop robust, scalable backend services and integrations that drive efficiency for both internal and external stakeholders across the organization.

• Independently design, build and maintain high-quality Java backend solutions hosted on Azure.
• Design RESTful APIs and relational databases to power the team's applications and automations.
• Experience with containerized applications (preferably Java Spring Boot microservices) and serverless (preferably Azure Functions).
• Participate in code reviews, write comprehensive tests and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, other Technical Teams, and the Architecture team to deliver high-quality solutions based on well-defined requirements.

Qualifications

• Higher education degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Java backend development.
• Solid knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, particularly Azure SQL and PostgreSQL, including proficiency in SQL.
• Experience working with Azure cloud services and familiarity with GitHub and Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively within agile teams.
• AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals certification.
• Fluent (written and spoken) in English.
• Knowledge of or interest in modern Azure AI services and their practical application.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Experience building frontend applications with React and TypeScript.
• Experience with designing/implementing event-driven architecture (Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Service Bus).
• Experience working with serverless applications (Azure Function app, etc.).
• Design and implement secure applications in serverless environments.
• Experience with EntraId, OAuth2, and basic authentication protocols.
• Understanding basic network functionality and key security features.
• Experience with Azure environment (Logic apps, key vault, API Management, etc.).
• Working efficiently alongside with copilot on designing, implementing, verifying, documenting, and testing the solutions.
