Role Description

As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll work across the entire stack—from database and backend services to the front-end UI—modernizing and maintaining this large-scale, high-availability system. This is a key technical role where your input directly impacts public services and transportation efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize full stack components across all layers: data, application, front-end, and testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational tolling services and system integrations
• Migrate and modernize legacy components to scalable, cloud-ready architectures
• Implement and support messaging and event-driven systems (RabbitMQ)
• Work with DevOps, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline deployments and support CI/CD
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and automated UI tests
• Document APIs, workflows, and system integrations using Open API / Swagger
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability
• On-call support team rotation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience building and supporting full stack .NET applications
• Deep understanding of relational databases and T-SQL optimization
• Experience working with legacy systems and modernizing to .NET Core or similar frameworks
• Familiarity with asynchronous messaging patterns (RabbitMQ a plus)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development practices
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
