[Hiring] Full Stack Engineer @the role and team

Role Description

Our Engineering team is growing! We are looking for a versatile Full Stack Engineer who loves building robust systems and seeing them come to life through functional, high-impact user interfaces.

As part of the Payments Team, you’ll build the “Mission Control” that powers our global money movement. You will bridge the gap between complex backend logic (Java/Python) and real-world results using JavaScript and Retool. This is the perfect role for an engineer who wants to own problems end-to-end: from the database to the UI that catches a payment anomaly and empowers our operations teams to move faster.

What You’ll Do

• Build the "Control Center": Use Retool and JavaScript to create powerful internal tools and dashboards that turn complex data into actionable workflows for operators worldwide.
• Power the Platform: Contribute to and maintain the APIs and backend logic (Java/Python) that drive transaction lifecycles.
• Architect Data Flow: Partner with peers to ensure data moves securely and efficiently from core services to our internal interfaces, maintaining high standards for data integrity and speed.
• Embrace Modern Dev: Leverage agentic development and pragmatic tools to accelerate how we build, iterate, and automate complex payment workflows.
• Solve Real Problems: Troubleshoot system bottlenecks and build smarter tools that help our teams catch issues and move payments faster.

• Collaborative Spirit: You enjoy talking through ideas with Product Managers and Ops teams to find the best path forward.

Requirements

• FinTech Experience: You’ve worked in environments where data integrity is mission-critical.
• Tooling Expertise: Experience with Retool or building internal-facing applications.
• Deep Data: An interest in Postgres or experience with data schemas.
