If you live near Eden Prairie, MN/Hartford, CT, you will enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid-remote role as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance user interfaces using React.js and modern front-end architecture.
  • Collaborate with UX/CX designers to translate mockups and wireframes into clean, accessible, and scalable UI components.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to solid front-end engineering principles and industry best practices.
  • Use enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate emerging trends to inform solution design and strategic innovation.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and optimal performance across various devices and platforms.
  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within an Agile framework, including pipeline planning, daily stand-ups, grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with back-end engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless end-to-end data flow.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize front-end code to improve application speed, usability, and scalability.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with React.js, including state management (e.g., Redux, Context API, or similar).
  • 2+ years of experience with Node.js.
  • 2+ years of experience working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and Axios for data fetching and integration.
  • 2+ years of experience with core web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
  • 1+ years of experience writing front-end unit and integration tests (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Experience utilizing modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or other enterprise-approved coding assistants) to accelerate development and optimize code quality.
  • Experience integrating and working with web analytics and user tracking platforms (such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or Tealium) to capture and interpret user behavior and engagement data.
  • Experience working with front-end performance analytics and monitoring tools (such as Lighthouse or Core Web Vitals) to drive optimization.
  • Experience working with design tools (such as Figma) to review and translate design mockups into functional UI components.
  • Experience writing query scripts and working with relational databases (such as SQL).
  • Experience with modern front-end build pipelines and package managers (e.g., Webpack, Vite, npm, yarn).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and version control using Git.
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and responsive design principles.
  • Experience working in a healthcare technology or large-scale corporate environment.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a focus on problem-solving and detail-oriented UI delivery.
