Role Description

We are seeking an Enterprise Mobile Application Developer to develop, enhance, maintain, and support enterprise mobile applications used by field personnel. This role will contribute to mobile functionality such as:

• GPS/location-based workflows
• Mapping and directions
• Photo and video capture
• Field inspections
• Traffic asset placement
• Deficiency tracking
• Real-time data updates

The ideal candidate will have experience developing secure enterprise mobile applications and working with integrations, databases, APIs, and Agile development teams. Experience supporting applications throughout development, testing, deployment, and post-production support is important.

Qualifications

• Professional experience developing iOS/mobile applications.
• Strong experience with Swift and Xcode.
• Experience developing applications for iPhone and/or iPad.
• Experience with mobile application development involving location/GPS-based functionality and data-driven workflows.
• Experience working with REST APIs and enterprise application integrations.
• Experience with SQL Server and/or other enterprise database technologies.
• Understanding of secure application development, authentication, authorization, and data protection.
• Experience with software testing, debugging, version control, and code reviews.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or comparable development/CI/CD tools.

Requirements

• Develop, enhance, maintain, and support iOS/mobile application functionality for field users.
• Build mobile workflows involving GPS/location services, mapping, inspections, data entry, media capture, and real-time updates.
• Integrate mobile applications with enterprise systems, APIs, databases, and authentication services.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, static analysis, security remediation, and requirements traceability.
• Support application testing across mobile devices, including system/integration, UAT, regression, and compatibility testing.
• Use Azure DevOps for development, testing, source control, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot defects, support deployments and Go-Live activities, and provide post-production support.
• Work within Agile development practices and established development, QA, and production environments.
• Follow secure coding, data protection, identity/access management, and mobile device management practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SwiftUI and modern iOS application development practices.
• Experience working with iOS SDKs and Apple development frameworks.
• Experience with Esri ArcGIS, ArcGIS SDKs, or other GIS/mapping technologies.
• Experience developing enterprise applications for field users or location-aware workflows.
• Experience with .NET, JavaScript, Node.js, or Python.
• Experience with Azure, Azure Storage, Cosmos DB, or other cloud technologies.
• Experience with Azure AD/Active Directory, SAML, MFA, SFTP, and TLS/HTTPS.
• Experience with mobile device management (MDM) and secure enterprise mobile environments.
• Experience with automated testing, including ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (SN ATF).
• Familiarity with geodatabases/SDE, Informatica/IICS, Kahua, or ATMS integrations.
