Role Description

Contribute to software development projects by:

• Writing, testing, and debugging code, with an emphasis on complex and critical components.
• Collaborating with team members to meet project requirements, actively participating in design and code reviews.
• Providing technical expertise and support to team efforts, acting as a subject matter expert in specific domains.
• Assisting in solving complex technical challenges, researching and proposing solutions.
• Participating in defining software requirements and specifications.
• Debugging and troubleshooting production issues, working closely with operations and support teams.
• Contributing to the assessment and adoption of new technologies and best practices.
• Mentoring junior team members, providing guidance and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience as a Cyberlife Mainframe Developer with exceptional skills in software development and modernization.
• Cyberlife is mandatory to move forward in this position.
• Advanced degree in a related field is a plus.
• Relevant certifications or training a plus.

Requirements

• Technical skills: COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DFSORT and IBM supplied utilities.
• Must have experience with US Life & Annuity Insurance domain.
• Provide comprehensive support to Production/Test Batch Cycle and achieve resolution to outstanding problems or issues during on call.
