Role Description

This job is responsible for leading the most complex technical designs that enable business strategies in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policies. Key responsibilities include:

• Facilitating deployment of the most complex technical solutions by developing templates, Terraform modules, Ansible playbooks, and automation used during implementation.
• Consistently looking for opportunities to improve the reliability and efficiency of implementing the services.
• Influencing a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Candidate is responsible for designing End to End solutions using AWS services:

• RDS PostgreSQL
• Aurora PostgreSQL
• DynamoDB
• ElastiCache
• SQS
• SNS
• EventBridge
• Data Firehose

• Serves as a consultant on a broad range of technologies, platforms, and vendor offerings to drive targeted business outcomes.
• Develops software solutions to address manual and repeatable work or inefficient processes and contributes to the technology strategy for end-to-end engineering solutions.
• Provides feedback to the architecture teams.
• Participates in various steering committees for technical and infrastructure service domains.
• Leads the evaluation of reference models, blueprints, and playbooks to ensure they are fit for purpose.
• Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers.
• Experience with Ansible playbook is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of AWS Solution architect experience is required.
• AWS Cloud Engineer with expertise in AWS RDS PostgreSQL, Aurora PostgreSQL, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Data Firehose, DynamoDB, ElastiCache.
• Experience working with OPA policies.
• Primary Skills: Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Python, CI/CD.
• Experience with Python, Unix Shell Scripting.

Requirements

• Key Management Service, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Config, S3, Artifact, Secrets Manager.
• AWS security, identity and Compliance services.
• Experience with other AWS Analytics services like Kinesis, MSK is a plus.
• AWS Solution Architect and AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification is a great plus.
