We are currently offering a 3-month internship as a Back-End Web Developer that can be credited to students who are currently enrolled in a recognized Computer Science or equivalent program. With the possibility of permanency, this is a great entry level opportunity providing intensive training and multiple hands-on learning opportunities!

Here is the CODE for you:

• Knowledge of programming languages including:
  • PHP
  • Laravel/Lumen Framework
• Proficient in databases and caches:
  • Ability to obtain and store information through SQL.
  • Creation, integration and management of databases.
  • Reporting analytics and statistics when necessary.
• Ability to use software such as:
  • Docker
  • Unit Testing
  • Code versioning tools (Git/GitLab)

Your job will entail developing back end systems. You will also have the chance to work on accessibility and security compliance as well as monitoring the status of servers.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a DEC, AEC, Certificate, Bachelor's program in Computer Science or related program.
• Eligible to partake in an internship program approved by the Ministry of Education.
• Excellent skills in writing good quality codes.
• Analytical, collaborative and a multi-tasker.
