[Hiring] Associate GTM Engineer @LeanTaaS

Role Description

We are hiring an Associate GTM Engineer to own and build that layer. This is a software engineering role embedded inside a revenue team. You’ll write code, deploy services, and integrate systems. You don't need Revenue Operations experience—our team has deep domain expertise and will teach you the business. What we need are strong software fundamentals, clean code practices, and curiosity about how a business operates.

Because our current systems were built by ops specialists rather than formal developers, you will bring proper software engineering practices—deployment, monitoring, and maintainable design—to our stack, giving you direct influence over our technical standards from day one.

What You'll Do

• Build & Scale End-to-End Pipelines:
  • Convert manual processes across analytics, legal, and commissions into automated, reliable, and fully documented data pipelines.
• Integrate the Revenue Stack:
  • Connect disconnected CRM, billing, and finance systems (including acquired platforms) using custom APIs, data pipelines, and reconciliation logic.
• Ship & Operate Internal Applications:
  • Deploy containerized AWS services and leverage AI coding tools to support deal desk, quoting, enablement, and sales operations.
• Drive Automation:
  • Eliminate recurring manual tasks such as lead enrichment, data hygiene, and quota adjustments.
• Establish Engineering Standards:
  • Introduce proper software practices to the team, including version control discipline, practical testing, robust error handling, and proactive system monitoring.
• Support Commercial Tools:
  • Maintain and optimize system handoffs between Sales, Implementation, Contracting, Legal, and Finance.
• Diagnose & Resolve Incidents:
  • Rapidly troubleshoot data issues, pipeline failures, and system edge cases independently using established patterns.
• Eliminate Single Points of Failure:
  • Create clear documentation—covering architecture, assumptions, and runbooks—and cross-train team members.
• Bridge Business & Engineering:
  • Work directly with non-technical stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Legal) to gather requirements, demo builds, manage expectations clearly, and translate business needs into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 0–2 years of professional software experience
• Working fluency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript—either is welcome, both is a plus
• Comfort with SQL and relational data models
• Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs, including authentication, pagination, and error handling
• Familiarity with version control and exposure to how code gets deployed and run in a real environment (containers, CI, logging, or monitoring)
• Daily use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot)
• Demonstrable interest in the commercial side of business—sales, revenue, pricing, growth
• Genuine interest in healthcare operations
• Excellent communication, written and verbal

Bonus Points If You Have

• Developer or admin experience with Salesforce (Apex, SOQL, Flow) or HubSpot
• Practical understanding of Revenue Operations and revenue mechanics like ACV, ARR, quotas, commissions, billing, and quoting systems
• Workflow automation experience using iPaaS platforms like n8n, Zapier, Workato, Make, or the Notion API
• Data engineering and analytics background, including data warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery, dbt), ETL pipelines, or BI platforms (Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
• Exposure to modern GTM tooling across sales engagement, prospecting, or marketing (e.g., Clay, ZoomInfo, Apollo, Outreach, Gong, Marketo)
• Hands-on DevOps experience running code in real environments using Docker, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, or Infrastructure-as-Code
• Hands-on generative AI development that goes beyond coding assistants to include LLM APIs, RAG, embeddings, vector search, or AI frameworks
