Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Appian Developer to support and maintain enterprise production applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Appian BPM, L2/L3 production support, troubleshooting, incident/problem management, RCA, performance optimization, automation, and release management.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for Appian applications and resolve complex technical issues within SLAs.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), incident investigation, and permanent issue resolution.
• Monitor applications, identify anomalies, and implement proactive measures to improve system stability.
• Drive problem management, automation, and recurring issue reduction.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and overall system resilience.
• Support change management, release management, deployments, and production fixes.
• Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, business, and other cross-functional teams.
• Maintain runbooks, technical documentation, and support procedures.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual support processes and improve response times.
• Mentor team members on production support best practices, security, governance, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of overall IT experience with strong Appian experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Appian BPM (Business Process Management).
• Experience as Senior Appian Developer, Lead Appian Developer, Appian Technical Lead, or Appian Consultant.
• Strong L2/L3 Production/Application Support experience.
• Expertise in Incident Management, Problem Management, RCA, Troubleshooting, and SLA management.
• Experience with Application Monitoring, Performance Tuning, Automation, Change & Release Management.
• Strong documentation, stakeholder communication, and mentoring skills.

Preferred

• Appian Certified Senior Developer or Appian Certified Lead Developer certification.
• Experience working in enterprise production environments.
• Knowledge of security and governance standards.
