Role Description

We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer who leverages AI as a force multiplier. You will utilize advanced AI development tools (Lovable, Cursor, v0, Bolt) to rapidly architect, build and deploy customer-facing business applications and intelligent/AI-infused workflows.

You are an entrepreneurial developer who doesn’t just write code from scratch, but knows how to leverage next-generation AI builder tools to create, deploy and iterate on applications at lightning speed. You will sit at the unique intersection of engineering, product, and business translating real-world operational challenges into functional software solutions in a fraction of the usual development timeframe.

What You’ll Do

• Build, launch, and iterate on end-to-end tools and applications by leveraging cutting-edge AI environments (Lovable, Cursor, v0).
• Deploy, host, and manage web applications seamlessly using modern hosting platforms like Vercel, or configure scalable hosting on AWS infrastructure when custom environments are required.
• Instrument key tracking metrics across all shipped tools to closely monitor user adoption, measure productivity gains (e.g., operational hours saved), and share these performance indicators transparently.
• Partner with core (EPDD) Engineering, Product, Design, and Data teams to ensure that the tools you build are compliant with Plum's organizational guidelines, design systems, and security standards.
• Collaborate directly with business teams and stakeholders to discover operational bottlenecks, translate user feedback into clean product requirements, and build a ruthlessly prioritized impact roadmap.
• Document architectures, deployment workflows, and AI prompting methodologies to share your key learnings and accelerate productivity across the wider engineering organization.

Qualifications

• Final-year students, recent graduates, or candidates currently pursuing their degree, with a strong interest in full-stack development.
• Proven experience building applications using AI tools like Lovable, Cursor, or similar.
• You care deeply about the "why" behind what you build and always keep the end-user experience in mind.
• Good understanding of modern JavaScript and frameworks like React.js, Next.js (or similar) along with state management and responsive CSS.
• Solid experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and caching layers (e.g., Redis).
• Familiarity with deployment approaches with Vercel, AWS services and modern CI/CD practices (Docker, GitHub Actions).
• Ability to work directly with business teams and customers to gather requirements, prioritize features, and drive successful product outcomes.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Prior experience in the Insurance (Insurtech) or Fintech domains.
• Experience handling sensitive user data and complying with security standards (like SOC2 or HIPAA).
• Been using AI tools to build end-to-end apps/hobby projects.
