[Hiring] AEM Technical Architect @Unicon Systems

Role Description

The Technical Architect will be responsible for delivering effective consulting services and providing technical leadership in AEM software-based solutions and technologies.

• Be a recognized expert in AEM software-based solutions & technologies.
• Deliver effective consulting services and lead ambassadorship in client relationships.
• Provide technical leadership in sophisticated AEM-centric digital marketing solutions.
• Lead solution architecture design, guide and mentor teams to develop high quality solutions.
• Support consulting representation in sophisticated solution selling.
• Drive continuous improvement of delivery methodology and planning guidance.
• Mentor others on the team, from new hire on-boarding to complex implementation issues.
• Lead the team in identifying, capturing, and distributing knowledge with clients, partners, and colleagues.
• Diagnose the client's technical environment and recommend options for improvement.
• Efficiently multi-task across multiple client engagements and key internal initiatives.
• Play a key role as a change agent in pursuit of constant tuning and improvement of practice.
• Analyze complex project issues, identify possible solution options, and facilitate presentations with clients.
• Proactively maintain the highest level of technical expertise by staying ahead of Adobe technologies.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years’ experience in Web and/or ECMS technologies.
• 3+ years of direct client consulting experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer relationship building skills.
• Ability to articulate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Adaptability to work effectively with a variety of clients in complicated situations.
• Engagement with sales teams and understanding of the sales process dynamics.
• Conceptual understanding of business requirements and translating them into architecture and design activities.
• Desire to build and strengthen a team-oriented environment.
• Provide guidance and leadership in planning and delivery process activities.
• Knowledge in Sling or OSGi frameworks, JCR API, RESTful principles, or ExtJS framework.
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming Methodology, ideally with Java.
• Skills in optimizing web solutions for performance requirements.
• Debugging skills in general TCP/IP networking, UNIX OS, HTTP protocol, and SMTP.
• Exposure to the latest AEM Cloud Service is a plus.
• Mastery in at least one SQL dialect.
• Knowledge of HTML, DHTML, JS, CSS, Jamstack, etc.
• Proficiency in XML and related technologies.
• Administration and debugging of Web servers, e.g., Apache.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent years of experience.
