Role Description

We're partnering with an early-stage startup solving a real, high-value problem in the hedge fund space. Fund managers spend $100K/year on research PDFs – we’re building a product to extract critical trading insights using AI and deliver them via a clean, powerful dashboard (no chatbots here).

We’re looking for a hands-on Technical Lead or Founding Engineer to help us build our MVP over the next 3 months.

Own the product’s technical architecture and direction
Ensure we meet ISO/GDPR and security best practices (FinTech compliance)
Work closely with our full-stack dev, UX designer, and DevOps engineer
Help us ship a high-quality, high-trust MVP for a high-stakes market
Set up and own the architecture and tooling decisions from scratch

Qualifications

Experience building and scaling AI-driven products or platforms with a focus on security and efficiency
Proven ability to scale early-stage technical projects with users in mind
Strong understanding of data privacy, compliance, and security
Bonus: background in FinTech, hedge funds, or B2B SaaS
Startup mindset — pragmatic, fast-moving, collaborative
No hard requirement for specific languages or frameworks — we're currently using React + Vite.js, Postgres + PGVector, and FAISS for embeddings, but you're free to shape the stack
