Role Description
This role involves joining the Growth Engineering team as a Staff Full-Stack Software Engineer to help shape the future of software development efforts.
- Deliver on key user acquisition projects contributing to Greenlight’s user base growth
- Work on a Scrum team with two-week sprints
- Build and enhance viral growth loops for customers using web/mobile technologies
- Make contributions to backend services
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and advocate for their adoption
Qualifications
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years experience leading web/mobile development projects
- Expertise in web/mobile development technologies such as Swift, Kotlin, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
- Strong proficiency in back-end technologies and web services (e.g., Node.js, Kotlin, Python, RESTful APIs)
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Deep understanding of web security best practices and principles
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
Requirements
- Building new experiences and enhancing existing features to drive user and revenue growth
- Optimizing organic user growth through full-stack experiments and features
- Contributing to the development and implementation of the growth engine and experimentation platform
- Scaling and enhancing backend services to support new feature requests and growing user base
- Improving the reliability and availability of the platform
