Role Description
This role involves researching, designing, and developing computer software and production applications.
- Independently develop and consistently redesign/refactor product to adapt to customer and associate needs.
- Involved in product and tool selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning, and production monitoring.
- Mentor less experienced engineers.
- Develop test suites to enable success and rapid deployment of code to production.
- Collaborate with other team members in agile processes.
- Work with the Product Team to ensure user stories are valuable, developer ready, easy to understand, and testable.
- Deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
- Help grow junior engineers by providing guidance on modern software development frameworks and leading technical discussions.
- Telecommuting available.
Qualifications
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
- Alternate combination of education and experience: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, post baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
- 2 years of experience in the following skills are required:
- SAP
- MS Office
- MS Visio
- Quick Book Pro
- SQL
