Role Description
This role involves working as a senior software developer on our Applications Team, responsible for delivering cloud-based software that addresses real-world security problems faced by IT professionals.
- Mentor new and junior team members
- Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
- Document and maintain software functionality
- Execute assigned and self-generated work
- Seek and receive mentoring
- Understand the product and how Security Services delivers the service
- Complete knowledge and full understanding of area of specialization, principles, and practices within your professional discipline
- Assess unusual circumstances and use sophisticated analytical and problem-solving techniques to identify causes
- Resolve and assess a wide range of issues in creative ways and suggest variations in approach
- Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of information requires evaluation of identifiable factors
- Devise solutions based on limited information and precedent by adapting existing approaches to resolve issues
- Use evaluation, judgment, and interpretation to select the right course of action

Qualifications
- Experienced software developer capable of completing solutions with little or no guidance
- Comfortable working independently on larger, impactful features
- Comprehensive knowledge of software development practices
- Mastery over writing and debugging code
- Demonstrated leadership experience from previous projects
- Diverse knowledge base to help the team solve complex technical problems
Requirements
- Experience in one or more of the following technologies: Go/Python, Javascript/Typescript, React.js, Restful APIs, AWS, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, SQS/Kafka, PostgreSQL
