Role Description

Meztal is seeking talented and motivated .NET Software Engineers to join our team. This role is perfect for engineers who love solving complex problems, thrive in collaborative environments, and are driven by curiosity and continuous improvement. As a Software Engineer at Meztal, you will work closely with Product, QA, and other internal teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions that make an impact.

Collaborate with stakeholders to design robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, etc.).
Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure the quality of delivered solutions.
Review and provide constructive feedback on code contributions from peers.
Participate in backlog grooming and sprint planning sessions to prioritize and estimate work.
Perform root cause analysis and resolve production issues, including hotfix releases when necessary.
Actively contribute to team meetings, sprint retrospectives, and roadmap planning.
Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for systems and processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of hands-on experience developing .NET solutions.
3+ years of experience with ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, ORM frameworks (Entity Framework, Dapper, Razor, Blazor).
3+ years of programming in C# and utilizing Object-Oriented Design principles.
3+ years working with SaaS products.
Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server, SQL query writing, and database architecture.
Familiarity with Azure Portal, Azure Emulators, and other cloud tools.
Experience with JetBrains Rider, LinqPad, Postman, PowerShell, Sentry, SQL Server Management Studio, and Visual Studio Code.
Exposure to Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence) and design tools like Figma/FigJam.
Excellent communication skills to articulate ideas effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong collaboration skills to work within cross-functional teams.
Adaptability to new tools, technologies, and processes.
A curious mindset and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Optimistic and solution-oriented attitude, even in challenging situations.

Requirements

All candidates must attach a resume that demonstrates great attention to detail, with clear context and examples of their work.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Rackspace.
Previous experience in the software or healthcare industry.
Experience designing and developing scalable data models.

Key Accountabilities

Developing and maintaining high-quality SaaS solutions.
Delivering features and enhancements that align with product roadmaps.
Identifying and implementing improvements in existing codebases.
Ensuring the team’s output meets sprint commitments.
Contributing to technical discussions and team decision-making processes.

Interview process

Phone Screening: Conducted by Recruitment.
Technical Interview: A one-hour technical video interview with our VP of Engineering and a Senior Developer.
Behavioral Interview: A one-hour behavioral video interview with our CEO and Hiring Manager.
Final Decision: After these steps, we will be in a position to make a final decision.
