Role Description
This role involves joining the Engineering Enablement team within the Data and AI organization at NIKE, Inc. to develop data-centric software applications and data pipelines that power Nike business teams.
- Develop, test and implement software to enable ingestion of data and multiple integrations with services and platforms.
- Collaborate with teammates in the design and building of scalable software solutions.
- Work closely with Product partners and Engineering Leads to implement new features and enhancements.
- Ensure product and technical features are delivered based on requirements and in a specified timeline.
- Participate and engage in agile ceremonies with the engineering team and product owner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related technical discipline
- 3-5 years of experience in software development building back-end components and services
- Strong understanding of the AWS ecosystem and container orchestration
- Project experience using Go, Python or similar language
- Experience with distributed systems at-scale and realtime data processing (Kubernetes, ECS, Kafka)
- Strong verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with technical and nontechnical teammates

- Experience building and supporting AWS applications using the latest frameworks and technologies
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player and continue to learn and grow
