Role Description
This role involves supporting our customers as a Software Engineer, working on a platform for the DoD that enables operators and analysts to train custom computer vision models without any machine learning experience.
- Build on our extensive data platform and AI Toolkit
- Orchestrate entire machine learning lifecycles, including data ingestion, enrichment, model exporting, and serving
- Design user interfaces for automated AI engineer systems
- Utilize key technologies such as TypeScript, React, and Kubernetes
- Work with a team of high achievers to impact warfighters' mission capabilities
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a hands-on engineer
- Extensive TypeScript and React experience
- Experience creating web-socket and RESTful APIs
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
- Curiosity about working with imagery and video from drones, satellites, and military assets
- Deep knowledge of software design and architecture patterns
- Experience with building and releasing software in cloud-native environments (i.e., Kubernetes)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
Requirements
- Able to obtain a Security+ certification within the first 90 days of employment
- Active Top Secret security clearance with ability to obtain and maintain SCI eligibility
- Remote work with potential travel up to 25%
