Role Description
The Software Engineer is responsible for developing, designing, testing, coding and integrating various software products related to centralized systems for bonusing, management and security for casino table games and electronic gaming machines.
- Utilizes technical knowledge to write and complete software tasks and projects.
- Research new technologies and incorporate them into new systems and products.
- Tests, integrates, writes, troubleshoots, and debugs software applications.
- Use company standards and apply design principles and patterns to develop robust software.
- Works closely with other engineers to provide guidance and assistance in the areas of software architecture, coding standards, and system related issues.
Qualifications
- 4 or more years of professional experience in a software development team.
- 2 or more years of professional experience in C#/.NET development.
- 2 or more years of experience with DevOps methodologies, build automation, continuous integration, unit test, change management and configuration management.
- Professional experience in SQL Server development is an advantage.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Knowledge of the Agile Software Development Lifecycle.
- Knowledge of operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of tools to test software applications/systems.
- Enjoy working in a creative environment.
- Good communication skills.
Education
- Technical degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
