As a SharePoint Lead/Developer, you will be responsible for leading and contributing to the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of SharePoint-based solutions for our diverse client base. You will leverage your deep understanding of SharePoint architecture, development best practices, and related technologies to deliver robust and scalable solutions that meet business requirements. This is a remote role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere.<br/><br/>Responsibilities : <br/><br/>Solution Design and Architecture : <br/><br/>- Lead the technical design and architecture of SharePoint solutions, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.<br/><br/>- Gather and analyze business requirements to translate them into effective SharePoint-based technical designs.<br/><br/>- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, architecture diagrams, and implementation plans.<br/><br/>- Provide technical guidance and recommendations to clients and internal teams on SharePoint best practices and solution options.<br/><br/>SharePoint Development and Customization : <br/><br/>- Develop and customize SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and web parts using modern development techniques.<br/><br/>- Proficiently utilize SharePoint Framework (SPFx) for building modern client-side web parts and extensions.<br/><br/>- Develop custom solutions using client-side technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Angular.<br/><br/>- Develop server-side solutions using .NET, C#, and SharePoint Server Object Model (SSOM) or Client Object Model (CSOM)/PowerShell when necessary.<br/><br/>- Design and implement custom workflows using Power Automate (Flow) and SharePoint Designer workflows (where applicable).<br/><br/>SharePoint Administration and Configuration : <br/><br/>- Perform SharePoint site collection and site administration tasks, including user permissions management, feature activation, and site configuration.<br/><br/>- Monitor SharePoint environment health and performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary fixes.<br/><br/>- Manage and configure SharePoint service applications, such as User Profile Service, Managed Metadata Service, and Search Service.<br/><br/>- Implement and maintain security best practices within the SharePoint environment.<br/><br/>Data Management and Migration : <br/><br/>- Design and implement strategies for data migration to and from SharePoint.<br/><br/>- Develop and execute data migration scripts and processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.<br/><br/>- Manage and configure SharePoint lists and libraries to effectively store and organize information.<br/><br/>Collaboration and Communication : <br/><br/>- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers. - <br/><br/>- Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.<br/><br/>- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.<br/><br/>- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users. <br/><br/>Troubleshooting and Support : <br/><br/>- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to SharePoint functionality and performance.<br/><br/>- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing SharePoint solutions.<br/><br/>- Develop and maintain knowledge base documentation for common issues and resolutions.<br/><br/>Continuous Learning and Improvement : <br/><br/>- Stay up-to-date with the latest SharePoint trends, technologies, and best practices.<br/><br/>- Evaluate new SharePoint features and functionalities to identify potential benefits for our clients.<br/><br/>- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and training initiatives.<br/><br/>Qualifications : <br/><br/>- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - <br/><br/>- Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in SharePoint development and administration.<br/><br/>- Proven expertise in SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development, including building web parts and extensions.<br/><br/>- Strong proficiency in SharePoint Designer for workflow creation and site customization.<br/><br/>- Solid understanding of SharePoint Development principles and best practices.<br/><br/>- Experience with client-side development technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Angular.<br/><br/>- Experience with server-side development using .NET and C# (preferred).<br/><br/>- Familiarity with SharePoint Object Models (SSOM, CSOM, REST API, Microsoft Graph API).<br/><br/>- Experience with Power Automate (Flow) for workflow automation.<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of SharePoint site architecture, content types, and taxonomy.<br/><br/>- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.<br/><br/>- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.<br/><br/>- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.<br/><br/>- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.<br/><br/>- Experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 services is highly preferred.<br/><br/>- Experience with InfoPath development and migration to Power Apps is a plus.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.<br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
