Role Description
We are looking for a Senior UI Engineer to build the systems and frameworks needed to deliver intuitive, responsive interactions across the player experience. If you care about building systems that allow creative teams to present information to the player in rich, informative ways and quickly iterate on interaction flows, all while maintaining high performance, this role may be for you.
- Drive our UI technology and workflows
- Collaborate with our UX designer to define the requirements for our UI systems
- Identify and implement custom features required to meet our goals
- Work closely with designers, artists, and other engineers to develop APIs and best practices for constructing UI elements
- Contribute to a culture of collaborative problem-solving, technical excellence, and continuous education and improvement
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a game engineer focusing on UI/UX systems
- Strong C/C++ programming and debugging skills
- Strong understanding of common UI framework design patterns
- Deep expertise in designing systems for high performance on modern hardware
- Unreal Engine experience
Requirements
- Experience working on character, camera, and/or controls systems for an action game

Compensation
For this specific role, the base salary range is $170,000 to $220,000 (USD) with the final salary offered dependent on job-related skills, knowledge, experience, and internal equity.
