Role Description
The role of a Software Engineer in the R&D AI Automation Team is to design, develop, and maintain software solutions (Studio) with drag-drop flow builder that integrate multiple channels like voice, SMS, and chatbot with the contact centre’s voice solutions.
- Proactively leads engineering efforts, fostering collaboration with peers, project managers, and quality assurance teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code that serves the purpose of scaling and tenancy management.
- Actively mentors team members and develops adequate specifications.
- Ensure the development stays on track, milestones are met, and the project aligns with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant discipline.
Requirements
- Proficiency in a variety of programming languages, including but not limited to JavaScript, PHP/Laravel, Python, Vue.js or others as required.
- Strong experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks like Vue.js or React.
- Expertise in server-side technologies, databases (SQL and NoSQL), and back-end frameworks like PHP Laravel framework.
- Awareness of web security best practices and the ability to implement security measures to protect applications and data.
- Ability to deploy and monitor applications in production along with diagnosing any technical issues.
- A portfolio of past projects showcasing full-stack development skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong commitment to delivering high-quality code and solutions on time and within scope.
