Role Description
As the Senior Solution Architect reporting to the Director Consulting, you will be integral to a team that excels in crafting innovative solutions for both new and existing clients. In this role, your primary focus will be on leveraging data to fuel the architecture and strategy of Digital Experience Platforms (DXP). You will be instrumental in defining the technology and software architecture, with a special emphasis on how data-driven insights drive the design and implementation of client initiatives.
- Discuss technical solutions with current clients, prospective clients, and the internal team.
- Provide innovative new ideas to create a functional and attractive digital environment.
- Contribute to client’s digital transformation strategies based on industry best practices.
- Participate as a subject matter expert in business development activities including proposal writing and pitching in-person.
- Engage with product vendor partners, client partners, strategists, and delivery engagement leaders.
- Assess and recommend experience platform-oriented solutions and engineering solutions.
- Construct a technical architecture of multiple solutions fitting client’s needs.
- Select and review technology frameworks.
- Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems through in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Articulate the transition from current to future state considering future business needs, security policies, and requirements.
- Break down complex business and technical strategies and roadmaps into consumable requirements.
- Share knowledge and thought leadership with the organization.
- Participate in discovery of technical project requirements and provide recommendations for phased program delivery.
- Create or contribute to project delivery estimations based on recommendations.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in design, development, and support of large-scale web applications.
- 5+ years of experience developing modern applications using cloud-native abilities of AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- 5+ years of experience in design and implementation of efficient data architectures, storage solutions, and data processing workflows.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience working with CDPs, data lakes, and analytics solutions.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing customer-facing applications.
- 5+ years of experience in client-facing technology consulting roles.
- 3+ years of experience designing and/or implementing Commerce Tools, Magento, Shopify, or similar E-Commerce platforms.
- Knowledge of current digital marketing trends and best practices.
- Ability to define conceptual technology solutions and articulate their value.
- Ability to methodically estimate technology execution scope of work.
- Ability to leverage existing technology tools and research new technologies.
- Ability to translate client goals into achievable technical specifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, management information systems, mathematics, or equivalent.
